Let me make it clear first that I’m no movie expert. I eat up big action movies. I love when a movie acknowledges its genre. I liked Transformers. I know when a movie is terrible. And Hancock? Hancock is not terrible. Hancock is good. Hancock might be the best movie you see this summer.
True, it does try to cram a lot into a little space. But it’s surprisingly deeper than I thought. The plot twist? Holy crap, I did not see that coming.
I was going to write more here, but it’s been so long since I’ve seen the movie that I honestly can’t remember the nuances of it. Perhaps I’ll post an update when I catch it on DVD. All I can say is that it left me a good impression
RIP Zac’s First Xbox 360 – 2005-2008
Sending it into Microsoft later this week.

GO AWAY! USE A REAL BROWSER! USE FIREFOX, SAFARI, HELL, USE IE!
…NetFront can’t even render this page right. :/
…is pretty cool. I wonder why they’ve decided to build the single largest and most obscurely reaching general games database on the web, combined with editorial content, forums, and social networking?
Meh. It’s a pretty cool idea.
Unfortunately.
(Thanks Taylor, who showed me this before Bungie/everywhere else the blogosphere posted it)
Actually looks fairly true to the game. I’m…surprise. Stunned, even! Wow!
Let’s hope it stays as good as it looks.
I wrote a quick article about my impressions of Civilization: Revolution, a game I’ve been looking forward to since it was announced, over at VidyaNow. Basically, it sucks. A lot. If you’re a Civ fan–don’t get this game. Even if you liked the demo, don’t get this game. Notwithstanding that it’s a buggy mess, it just ain’t Civ.
Avoid at all costs
I’ve just started playing. I’m a Diablo fan and wanted something to tide me over until Diablo 3.
It basically seems like a Diablo game with modern RPG sensibilities. Oh, and no randominity. But I’ve just started.
If anyone has an opinion of it and would like to let me know, shoot me an email or comment here
A colorful current-gen shooter on the WII?! It’s like a dream come true.
I cannot WAIT for this game.
